Dance Works strives to keep honest rates in every aspect of the season. We continue to work hard to keep the expense to a minimum and not over price items such as costumes and dance wear.
Membership Fee
With the Dance Works Membership Fee you will receive discounts throughout the year, priority privileges, access to extra classes, and much more! Your membership will also cover the multiple smaller fees due throughout the season such as, Registration Fee, Christmas Party fees, Recital fees, and give you discounts to additional events such as Pop-up Classes, Birthday Parties, Master Classes, etc.
Dance Works Membership Fee is $70.00 per family and is due annually. The membership fee is nonrefundable or transferable. In the event any of the above events do not happen, the fees will be dedicated elsewhere at Dance Works. If you choose to leave the studio at any time during the enrollment season, the membership fee is non-refundable and not possible to defer.
Tuition
Your dance tuition is based on the entire season and has been split into 9 even monthly payments for your convenience.
There are 36 weeks for dance classes between September 6, 2022, and June 10, 2023, a 10-month period.
Tuition is due the 1st of each month.
If your monthly tuition is not paid on time, a late fee of $20.00 will automatically be posted to your account on the 10th of the month. If tuition is still not paid by the 20th of the month, your dancer will not be permitted to dance until your account is brought up to date. If you start your class(es) in the middle of a month, the tuition will be prorated and the next month’s tuition will be due on the 1st. Your final season payment is due in May. All payments are final and non-refundable.

Discounts
We do offer a multi-class discounted rate which includes siblings and immediate family members. Please contact us for more details on discounts offered. Additionally, we also offer a Pay in Full discount, if you pay for your entire season tuition in FULL, in the month of September. Note: All payments are final and non-refundable. We are grateful for military service members however, due to our affordable pricing, we cannot offer any additional military discount.
Additional Costs
Additional costs beyond tuition may occur throughout the season. All dancers must have the necessary assigned dancewear and shoes for their classes. A Costume per dance class is required for the recital/production. If your dancer is accepted into the Dance Company or commits to attending dance conventions, there will be additional costs involved. If your dancer receives a main character role in the production, there are additional costs associated with that opportunity. Please see specific events/departments for more information.
Payments
We ask all our families to make payments in a timely manner to avoid late fees. We are a family owned and operated business, and although our studio is a place of fun, it is still a necessity to be run as a place of business.
ALL payments are final and non-refundable.
All tuition is automatically posted to your Dance Works online account and due the 1st of each month. There are many convenient ways that you can pay your dance tuition. The most convenient is via your online Dance Works account. (See Dance Works Account for more details.)
Payment Options:
Automatic Payments: Your online account allows you to opt for automatic credit card/debit card monthly payments. This option will automatically charge your card on the 1st of each month. Any additional items (tights, ballet shoes, etc.) that were purchased throughout the month will also be charged at that time. This action can only be done by the family via their on-line account.
Manually Online: Each month you can log-on to your Dance Works account and manually make a payment to the studio to keep your account current. You are also able to make a payment in advance of a due date.
At the studio: we accept most major Credit Cards. We can take payments over the phone or if you prefer to send us an email you may request Dance Works to “charge my card ${AMOUNT} for November Tuition” and state the last 4 digits of your credit card number. We also accept personal checks made payable to Dance Works. Please Note: A $40.00 charge will be automatically posted to your account for any returned checks. We do accept mailed checks to either address, however, this is NOT the best way to make payments. *We advise you to notify us prior, so we know to expect your payment in the mail. Cash is accepted and preferably in the correct amount, as we hold little change at the studio. Additionally, at most Dance Works events concessions will be available for cash purchase only.
With ALL transactions that are made (excluding concession) an email receipt will be automatically sent to the family. All payments are final and non-refundable.
NOTE: If you paid your tuition in FULL at the beginning of the season – The amount only applies to your tuition. You are still obligated to pay for other items such as costumes, fees, dancewear, apparel, etc. throughout the remainder of the season.
DANCE WORKS ONLINE ACCOUNTS
The Dance Works On-Line System allows families to access their entire season of tuition history, studio fees, and payments from the comfort of their own home or on the go. All current families at Dance Works have an account and can access this with their email address and a personal password.
Understanding your Account: Everyone is encouraged to use their on-line account and become familiar with the user-friendly convenient set up. If you have a problem or need help navigating the system, we would be happy to assist.
Family Profile: The information on the online account is what we use to contact you and rely on it to be complete, updated, and correct. Please ensure you have all your correct information on file including current address, phone numbers, and emergency contacts. Each dancer MUST have an emergency contact name and phone number on file. The system has many positive features including the capability of having multiple email addresses – so everyone can stay informed.
Dancer Profile: The family account can have multiple dancers attached to the family profile depending on how many dancers are taking classes. Please be sure your dancer’s profile has their name spelled correctly. This information is referenced throughout the season for texts such as the recital program. There is also an option to add a photo of your dancer. This is very useful for our staff since we have over 300 dancers at Dance Works. This feature allows us to recognize each dancer and learn names a lot faster, especially for those teachers who may not teach your dancer each week, but will see them at larger Dance Works events.
Payments Due: You can access your account at any time to see the items posted such as: tuition, dance wear charges, and costumes. You can also pull up a list of charges due in the next 30 days to ensure you are up to date with all the expected due dates.
Mobile Friendly: Simply log-on to your online account from the comfort of your own home or on the go. You can update information, make a payment, or see what is due. It’s easy and simple to use.
Accept Email: It is very important to check – YES to receive emails. We do not send “Junk Mail” or solicit your information to other businesses. All the information we email to you is important communication from Dance Works.
